True Journalism Is Dead!

The Ends Justify the Means. This one sentence encapsulates the grave danger the "Progressive Movement" poses to the freedom of we, the people of the United States.

The truth does not matter. Lie, Cheat, Steal, Bribe, Coerce, Embezzle, Blackmail, and even Murder. As long as it accomplishes their goals.

Although not committing murder yet (at least not that I know of), mainstream journalism has adopted much of the philosophy of the Progressive Movement. Journalists who once served as the conscience of a nation have become whores for the Progressive Movement - a movement that has as its core belief that the US Constitution is not a valid document and should be discarded and replaced.

How Did Journalism Die?

20-30 years ago, when people mostly got their news from local Newspapers, a key requirement before any news media printed a story was that the editor of the newspaper required TWO independent sources to verify that the story was true and accurate. If they could not get those two independent verifications, the story was SPIKED - meaning it was not run.

(Author's Note: 40 years ago, when I worked in the newsroom of The Stockton Record, I read numerous "spiked" stories that NEVER saw the light of day. A few of the stories turned out to be true and were published years later when verification was obtained.)

TV News - The Slow Death Of Journalism.

The news business was ALWAYS competitive and ruthless. One thing that was as true then as it is now is the rush to be the FIRST to break a news story - The bigger the story, the more the urgency to get the story out FIRST. Since newspapers were published only once a day, there was considerable pressure to verify any story before the publication deadline.

Then Came TV News.

The advantages and disadvantages of TV news were that it could report breaking news immediately after it occurred. The bad that in the rush to be first, the verification process took a hit. Under pressure from the three major networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC at the time) to break the news first, independent verification became a casualty of that rush. Not at first, but over time, the verification process became almost nonexistent.

The verification mandate has evolved from requiring two independent sources 40 years ago to today: if any news outlet reports a story, other news outlets use it as an excuse to claim that the story has been verified.

How Fake News Stories Become Mainstream. Say there is a juicy rumor or story being bandied about,

but without any documentation or proof of any sort. Then, some hack liberal internet blog or news website (Like Slate, TheYoungTurks, Political, or Salon) will run across a news story and will publish it as is, without verifying any part of it.

(There are sources that actively write these phony hit pieces and forward them around for publication. George Soros funds many of these groups.

Even though it was published by a non-mainstream publication, a mainstream news source, like CNN, MSNBC, ABC News, and even The New York Times, will pick it up and run it, and pretend it is factual because a "news source" published the story.

When it is pointed out that the story was inaccurate, they would blame the news source that first ran the story, saying that since the story was published (By Media XXX), they assumed it had been verified and that it was true.

Whoops, sorry, it was an honest mistake, it's not our fault—blame MediaXXX. Yeah. Right. Like you can take it as gospel whatever Politico or Salon publishes.

Meanwhile, because a Mainstream Media source published that "fake news story," other mainstream news outlets will also publish that same "fake story," and millions of people read that FAKE story without ever knowing it was false.

Only The Narrative Counts

Today, the news media cares little about whether a story is true. They only care if the story fits the narrative they are pushing. Oh, they claim they only print stories that are factual, but that is just nonsense.

It really pains me to see an institution I once was a proud member of being ruined by a bunch of dishonest, unpatriotic, lying, and mean-spirited individuals. They only care for their cause, which is Progressivism, and not their craft, Journalism.

And if you get in their way, they will destroy you with a gleam in their eye as they walk over your still-warm corpse.

George Soros - The Most Dangerous Man For America

If real Journalists were active today, especially Investigative Journalists, they would be researching and/or reporting on George Soros and his diabolical efforts to destroy America and create a new world order. You may think that statement brands me as a nut job spouting conspiracy nonsense, but hear me out.

George Soros is the most dangerous man in America today. He is a treat to you and your children and is the single most influential person in the Progressive Movement.

Their goal is change America as it is today and replace the Constitution with open borders and global governance. Here is some research on George Soros. Take time to read this, and once you realize how dangerous this man is, pass it on to your relatives and friends - or even your enemies.

Every American is at risk here, so the more people who are aware of the antics of George Soros and his Open Society Foundations (OSF), the better.

This man and his movement MUST BE STOPPED. Your FREEDOM and your CHILDREN'S FREEDOM depend on it.
