The Internet is loaded with FREE STUFF...and that INCLUDES information resources and tools to use in both starting an online business and promoting it. With the proper searches, one can find free website hosts, free email, url submitters, free classified ad networks to plug into, free listservers, freeware and shareware.
But get it now. The amount of free marketing resources is less now that what is was just a couple of years ago.
Of course there is always a lot of free advice. But be careful, because while it is free, some of it is worth exactly what you paid for it - nothing.
What I am attempting to do here is cut through the BS, the scammers, and hype and give from straight forward good advice and a source for resources and free tools that you can use to build a successful online business.
One thing I will tell you right now. If you are looking for a way to get rich quickly, you will not find it here or anywhere else on the Internet, or indeed anywhere else. "...he who follows after foolish fantasies shall have poverty." is from Proverbs 28:19 and is as true today as it was then.
To be successful online, you need knowledge, a good work ethic, resources and a product you can sell. There are no shortcuts.

Now it is time to present your website to the world. There really is only on way to do this, and that is to get listed in the major search engines. The most important one to start with is by far Google. You can post ads to classified ads sites to, and while that will generate some clicks, a constant daily traffic only will come from high listings in search engines.
